Lars Løkke Rasmussen er en dansk politiker, der var Danmarks statsminister i perioderne 2009-2011 og 2015-2019. Siden december 2022 har han været udenrigsminister i regeringen Mette Frederiksen II. Han har både været næstformand (1998-2009) og formand (2009-2019) for partiet Venstre, som han repræsenterede i Folketinget fra 1994 indtil sin udmeldelse af partiet i 2021. Han fortsatte som løsgænger indtil året efter, hvor han officielt stiftede det politiske parti Moderaterne, som han nu er formand og folketingsmedlem for. Han var fra 1998 til 2001 amtsborgmester for Venstre i Frederiksborg Amt.
